Breaking away from the tradition of white plates and silver stands, Dalebrook was commissioned by rhubarb Food Design Ltd for their client The Royal Ascot Racing Club to design a tea stand with a difference.

Taking pride of place in the dark wood and mahogany prestigious members-only area of the iconic venue, overlooking the race course’s finishing line, Dalebrook's stunning Copper Tea Stand design far exceeded the expectations of the Royal Ascot Racing Club.

A first of its kind design, the Copper Tea Stand adds a touch of decadence and glamour to any afternoon tea setting. It is a practical solution for any busy catering environment. Unlike other bulky stands, the Copper Tea Stand can be stacked and stored neatly away when not in use as a result of its removable rustic wood effect melamine platters. Easy to use, the platters are practical, durable and designed to stand the test of time.

Commenting on the launch of the Copper Tea Stand, rhubarb’s Duncan Garland said;

“Afternoon Tea at Ascot is a prestigious event and we required an afternoon tea stand that would be in keeping with the venue and its traditions. Dalebrook Supplies came to us with a stunning solution that is both contemporary and stylish, yet practical too. We’re delighted with the results.”

The original copper effect stand was further developed with two new finishes of complementing marble and slate effect platters and two stand options in chrome and black finishes. This ultimately allows the venue to choose the look and feel of the stand and has proved popular for restaurants looking to create modern, contemporary afternoon tea menus including high-tea, sushi and Indian.
