Why We Chose Tritan™ Renew for Our Aura Collection
Share
When developing our Aura drinkware collection, we wanted a material that offered the clear appearance of glass without the same risk of breakage. It also needed to stand up to the demands of everyday hospitality use.
That's why we chose Tritan™ Renew from Eastman. It combines glass-like clarity with durability, making it a practical choice for busy service environments.

Clear presentation, less breakage
Tritan™ Renew is lightweight and impact-resistant, making it less likely to chip, crack or break than traditional glassware. This helps reduce replacements and keeps service running smoothly.
It's also designed to maintain its clarity through hundreds of commercial dishwasher cycles, so the drinkware continues to look good with regular use.
For hospitality teams, this means durable drinkware that's easy to handle and suitable for high-traffic environments.

A different approach to recycling
Tritan™ Renew is made using Eastman's molecular recycling technology. This process breaks down waste plastics into their basic building blocks, which can then be used to make new materials.
It contains up to 50% certified recycled content through a mass balance system, helping reduce reliance on virgin fossil-based resources. The material is also BPA, BPS and BPF free.

Why it was right for Aura
Choosing a material is about finding the right balance between appearance, performance and how it's made.
Tritan™ Renew gives Aura the clarity needed for attractive drink presentation, alongside the durability required for regular hospitality use. It also allows us to make use of recycled resources as part of the manufacturing process.
For us, it was a material choice that made sense both in terms of how the collection looks and how it performs.
